Well I have just about had enough of Ft Mac the catterpillers are so bad here that when chase goes out to do his thing he brings in a few of them as he has to stand still to pee or squat for the other..all I know is that I am tired of finding them either on the bed or in it!
Although I have enjooyed watching the squirrels and the woodpeckers that are outside my windows it still doesn't make up for the misquitos that are out here in droves or the catterpillars that are now starting to make cocoons where ever they can join silk. This includes along the top of the 5th wheel, the stablizing legs, the awning, and anyplace else they feel like doing this.
Hopefully we will be out of here by the long weekend if not shortly there after! The job has been going nicely until tonight when we got hit by rain, rain and gravel just don't mix when trying to build a road or in this case a Truck Staging Area for all the huge loads that are brought up here for the oil fields.
I have been kept rather busy with this job doing the bookwork for Brian or runing into Ft Mac for things needed for the job or running envelopes with the paperwork I've done to the E-Construction office here. The one saving grace with that is I go by a Tim Hortons so I always stop and grab a large French Vanilla Capachino.
I will post again tomorrow with the results of how bad we were hit with the rain and if we were able to start a haul or if we had to start drying again.
